Jeffrey C. Messaros joined the NFS team in January of 2024 as the Deputy General Manager. Mr. Messaros has over 20 years of leadership and management experience. Before arriving at NFS, Mr. Messaros was the Site Manager for BWSR, LLC at the Naval Reactors Facility where he maintained executive oversight of local activities and provided fiduciary responsibility on behalf of BWXT. He oversaw all of the BWSR personnel and subcontractors, contract execution and changes, engineering and field performance, process/productivity improvements, and cost/schedule performance.
During his career, Mr. Messaros supervised engineering, project management, and environmental and waste at both the Naval Reactors Facility and the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and earned a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Idaho.
