Sam holds an Industrial & Systems Engineering degree from Virginia Tech, with a focus on Human Factors and Environmental Health & Safety. At Index AR Solutions, he plays a lead role in app production, specializing in the concept and development of 2D, 3D, and augmented reality training solutions.
His work is concentrated in the utility sector, where he has supported gas, electric, wind, and thermal generation training initiatives. Sam also served in a lead role on a joint project with MidAmerican Energy to deliver Line Mechanic applications and training to students at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), supporting MidAmerican’s recruiting and workforce development pipeline.
